Screw industrial chillers

Industrial chillers are cooling devices or systems that are used to cool machinery or the environment in which the machinery is kept. Wherever there is a need for constant temperature, the industrial heaters or chillers are used. If your industrial process gets affected by rise or fall of temperature, then you need to have the right cooling or heating system.

Industrial chillers are of three basic types – air, water and evaporative condensed. There are subcategories for these three types of industrial chillers. These sub categories are centrifugal, reciprocating, absorption and screw driven. An industrial unit needs to have high efficiency and low cost of maintenance.

The ammonia chiller units are regarded as chiller units that have optimum operational efficiency and very low cost of maintenance. In addition to these two features, you will also find that the ammonia screw chillers have trouble free operation and low power consumption.

These ammonia chiller units are generally used in private institutions, manufacturing units, injection molding industry, pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry and other industries. In the screw chiller category, you can also opt for the water cooled chiller units. Most water cooled chillers of today are fully microprocessor based.

These modern water cooled chillers are most suitable for process cooling applications from (+) 20°C upto (-) 15°C. When you are buying the water cooled chiller units, ensure that they are energy efficient. The industrial chillers that need a lot of energy can affect overall costs and thereby reduce profits. You can choose between air cooled or water cooled chillers for your industrial cooling needs.
